Not sure what to say?

Will always remember our little chats when he would come thu the McDonald's drive thu

Stu was a good friend at Lewis. He was in many ways a mentor. He was a few years ahead of me but, guided me through . Especially, in Research 3. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed deeply. He was one of the few older students, who looked out for me. And, a reason I continued in medicine.
I will remember you giving me the nickname "Rookie" ...it has stuck all these years, even after medical school.

I still often think of him coming thur McDonald's drive thur every day for his LG coffee and sausage biscuit

Tonight I just came from the 50th reunion of the Boylan High School class of 1969, Stu's class. He was remembered in a poster of class mates who died in recent years. I had many classes with him at Boylan and was impressed by his acumen, not only in matters of science but in general affairs of the world. His smile and sparkling eyes were contagious. We missed him tonight.

May the light of God's love shine brightly in the hearts of those whom Dr Gifford has touched.

I am so saddened to hear of Dr. Gifford's passing. He gave me the news 4 years ago that I had breast cancer. He was such a kind, compassionate and caring man. He helped me through one of the most challenging times in my life and I will be eternally grateful. He would always take as much as was needed to make sure I was okay. My condolences to his family.

Five years ago when my surgery took a surprise turn Dr. Gifford was called in and saved my life. He was a calming and caring presence during my hospital stay. I shall never forget his reassuring words, "You can't rush healing." I owe him my life. Thank you, Dr. Gifford. My sincere condolences to his family.

We were so sad to hear about Dr. Gifford's passing. My mother was one of his last patients before he retired, and we were so thankful to have such a competent, compassionate doctor. He really took time with her, and he had a great sense of humor and was truly kind. We will always be grateful to him and remember him fondly. He was "one of the good guys"! Our condolences to his family on their great loss.
