Not sure what to say?

I was deeply saddened to learn today of Stewart’s passing. When I moved to Dallas and attended Richardson High school, a few of the guys including Stewart adopted me as one of their own. Over time we became best of friends. We graduated together and as mentioned elsewhere, lived on ranches, raced cars and rode horses and motorcycles. We all felt like we were living a charmed life. Stewart, his dad Jerry P and grandfather CB were kind enough to employ me in various positions within the Company...

To the Owens Family,

I was a classmate of Stewart's from 1968 to 1973 in Richardson, TX. He was a great guy--if not somewhat of a prankster in junior high. My sister and I and some of our friends had our horses on the old Hunt land across from Owens Country Sausage for a number of years. Some of our best memories were birthed there, like swinging on the rope, letting go and landing in the creek (hopefully, as it was about a 20 foot drop.)

I am so sorry to hear of Stewart's...

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Cindy,

I am so sorry to hear of your husband's passing. You and your family are in my prayers during this very difficult time. I think fondly of our time as roommates and working together at Anderson Clayton Foods. I would love to hear from you again when you feel up to it.

Dear Owens Family,
I will always remember how nice Stewart was to me in high school especially since I was new and didn't know anyone. His warmth and friendliness will always be remembered and appreciated.

Dear Kim and Family,
I am very sorry to here of Stewart's
death. I did not know him well but He was always a good friend to my brother Roy Watson. You will all be in our prayers.

Dear Cindy and Family,
I so sorry to hear of your lost.
I was a high school friend and college roommate of Stewart's, we lived in two rent houses in his first years at SMU. He was a great guy and good friend during those fun times. Even though we have lost touch through the years I will miss knowing he is not here. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had not heard about Mr. Owens until now. Stewarts and some that have gone before him were part of a little group friends through school and after.
We did everthing from build and race cars, to horse packing trips. I think of those days often. My prayers are with you.

Dear Cindy,Kim and Kevin,
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of Stuart and about Jerry earlier this year.
I am so thankful for the great memories of filming commercials with you all. You are wonderful people and I pray for your comfort.
