Not sure what to say?

Our deeptest sympathy to all your family. Our families share so many fond memories together at Burt Lake. One that has stayed with me is when Stew piled our kids and ourselves in his station wagon and took us out on the ice, to the middle of the lake. George was so nervous we would end up in the lake. We didn't and had a ball. Sherry and George Stefanes

The service was wonderful and the military tribute very fitting. I enjoyed the photo and medal memories so much. We we could have had more time to surround ourselves with the family that is part of his generational legacy so we could know each other better.

My prayers are with the Peet family. I will miss Stew so much as I had so many wonderful conversations with him when I worked at Bay Ridge. He loved to talk about the Red Wings and always asked about my kids and their sports. He was truly a wonderful friend!!! He had such a spunky attitude and always made me laugh:) He will be missed dearly!!!

Bill & Sharon,
sending sincerest sympathies to you and yours.

Mary and I send our condolences to the Peet family. Agreat memory of mine was just after henry and myself got out of the army . We went up to Burt Lake to put the dock in .Henry and I were holding the post to be driven in to the lake bottom Stew was using the sledge hammer to pound the post in .well henry looked at me we both smiled and when stew came down with that hammer we moved that post and stew went head first right into the lake.it was pretty funny and papa stew thought so to.
