Not sure what to say?

Stew Schneller was truly a great man as a father, husband, professor, and Dean of the College of Sciences and Mathematics. He was a great boss as well!

Stew greatly and positively affected my professional and personal life. Professionally, he supported my work with the Human Odyssey Program, and he generously supported the Littleton-Franklin Lecture Series in Science and the Humanities. Personally, he was a role model for excellence in so many dimensions of life - family, scholar, friend, teacher, and life-long learner. The world needs more Stu Schnellers! May God bless his family with peace and strength

Stew was such a wonderful professional and was a first-class person! My heart goes out to the family Love, Betty DeMent

I first met Stew when he interviewed for the Dean of COSAM position back in th early '90s when I was Associate Director of the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station. I enjoyed his company and working with him on administrative matters, and our numerous and lively conversations about teaching, research, graduate-student education, etc. I admired and respected him greatly, and I thank God that I was blessed and honored to have had Stew in my life and career. An absolute gem of a human being!

Dear Papa, I miss you! I am so sad to know this. I hope you rest in peace and have happiness in the heaven. Please know that I admire you and I miss you! And I love you! I am sending my best wishes to you. God bless you! Amen!

Truly a gentleman and a scholar.

What a great person! I greatly admired Stewart as professor and colleague, My deepest sympathy to his family.
