My deepest sympathies to the family. Peggy was always an inspiration to me in sports. Always optimistic and never took the easy way out. She will be missed but never forgotten.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Peggy... we spent 12 years in school together... many fond memories growing up with the String family.. although we have lost touch over the years ... there are many fond memories of her... God Bless to the Kirsch family and the String family

To the Kirsch and String Families...Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

Peggy was an inspiration to me - watching her fight this battle for so many years with such courage and grace. She always put the kids and other's needs first. We are praying for the entire family for peace in their hearts. She is whole and without pain sitting at the feet of Jesus in Heaven. It is this positive thought that gives me the strength to not be overwhelmed. I hope it gives you comfort too. With sincere Christian Love.

I am so saddened by the news of Peggy's passing. I will always remember my earliest days with Peggy, baking with her E-Z Bake Oven at the String's. Many memories followed, like South Harrison Softball, 4H, class trips at St. Joseph's school, and many St. James adventures, starting with Freshman Homecoming float decorating at the farm.
