Read MoreJulia and I met Stuart and Barbara during their time in Zimbabwe and they became dear friends. We stayed with them in the Berkshires and they with us in Gozo (Malta) and Melbourne and Currumbin in Australia. An imperishable memory is of Stuart singing (growling) a US infantry marching song to the startled members of my singing and dining club. Sincere condolences to Barbara and the family. Dear Bartle Family, very sorry to hear of the loss of this amazing man. He was so kind to patients. I would enjoy chatting with him. Wonderful professional and humanitarian. He left a mark in this world that will ever ripple. With sympathy.
