I was just "Miss Lee" to Mr. Beebe. I was a cashier at Dollar General in Troutman for four years after discovering that retirement was boring for me. Mr. Beebe would come in once a week on his way to have lunch with his granddaughter at Celeste Henkle Elementary. My granddaughter was also a student there at the time. He was such a delightful man and was so proud of his granddaughter. We had many conversations about our girls. Mr. Beebe was always smiling and so respectful that he just stuck out in my mind as my favorite customer. Please accept my condolences to the family of such a kind man.

Jan, Lexi & David...your Jersey family loves you and are thinking of all of you during this time! Stuart was a great man, loving grandfather, father and friend. I personally knew him only a short time but in that short time I knew how he felt when every time he called he sent his love to me too. We love you all very much and are thinking of you and your entire family!
