stu,I only knew you for a short time but you had such a positive and fun presence and influence. i'll always remember the mausolf-reinhart family get-together's that we were at and how much fun you were. not to mention all the great food you made. you were always in our thoughts and prayers. glad you are at peace and in no more pain, but we will miss you so much. love you. jim,janelle and tessa.

Stu was the best friend I have ever had. We met in Middle School, only 25 years ago. We worked together for years at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre and even had an apartment together when we were in college. We were ALWAYS there for each other. He used to always tell everyone that I was his sister, because it was too hard to explain the close relationship that we had any other way. He was there when I got married and when my first child was born. I will miss him everyday for the rest of my life.

Stuart was the best friend I've never met in person. We both frequented the Craigslist Food Forum, and his entries were so funny and knowledgeable that when I needed information about a recipe, I wrote to him.

That started a year-long friendship centered around food. As he became more ill, he couldn't eat the foods he loved but still wanted to talk about them. He was always helpful and kind. When we talked on the phone, it was as if I had known him forever.
