Not sure what to say?

Thanks for your quiet inspiration that led me to a lifetime of chasing the perfect carved GS turn and capturing the beauty around us. "A good photographer never shows ALL his photos!" Thanks, Stu!

What a gem, Stu was one of the best.

I remember headed to the hot springs in Wyoming, leaving Jackson around 11PM in the old 4 on the wheel white truck the air bears drove from Vermont. Stu was my co pilot as I drove the beast ( probably the most sober of us!) It was quite an adventure. We did arrive safely and found spots in the truck to sleep. We grew up in Norwich and went to elementary school together.Later, we were house mates with an awesome group of folks and ski buddies through college. Stuart and 5 of us did a three week bike tour all around Nova Scotia and Cape Breton - many, many fond memories - you will be so missed - RIP Peace gentle soul Love Emily Hart

I'm saddened to learn of Stu's passing. Happy to see that his life was so rich and that he was home in Norwich again. My deepest condolences to your family.

Oh so sad - too young - he and 4 other friends did a bike tour all around Nova Scotia - RIP dear friend and 8 of us UVM students rented a 3 story building and it was an awesome household

He will be missed. I knew him and his family since the mid 60's. I had the privilege of working for both he and his father. They were very thoughtful and caring individuals. Phil Wheeler
