Not sure what to say?

Stu was a very special person and a wonderful doctor. He took very good care of me and my parents. He really listened to his patients and let them know he cared. He will be missed by many. I will always remember his "Hello" and his smile. He left us too soon. My heart goes out to Saul and Lu.

Dear Annalu and Stu's family, I'm so sorry for your loss and the loss to all of us in the medical community and the Jewish community. Stuart was a good friend and a great doc. We shared many patients together over the years that I practiced in Tacoma. It was always a pleasure to work with him. I will miss him. Jeff Nacht.

Such sadness to learn of Dr. Farber's death. I was fortunate enough to have him as a mentor while a physician-in-training at UW; his compassionate and wise teachings, and the example of his own life and career, were incredibly inspiring and strongly influenced my own direction in medicine. He had a magical effect on patients and students alike, and will be deeply missed by many. My condolences to his family.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEND CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF STUART FARBER. HE TOOK CARE OF MY PARENTS FRED AND RUBY MAY FOR MANY YEARS UP UNTIL THERE DEATHS. HE WAS A AWESOME MAN AND PHYSICIAN. RIP SHARON MAY WINDEN

Dr Farber brought light to countless patients and families as they struggled through dark days. He comforted many, and it seemed he understood what truly mattered to every patient he cared for. To be in his presence while he worked his magic of immense compassion was a gift. His passing is a huge loss for many. Peace to you, Dr Farber.

Dear Lu and family, I am so sorry to learn of Stu's passing. It's been a long time since we worked together at Russell. May God bless you. Dee Davis

Dr. Farber touched my life for good, and I am so thankful for the role he played in saving my life and in caring for my family. I am deeply saddened at his passing. He is one of the best men I have ever known.

Sorry for your loss. May you find comfort from friends, family, fond memories and from God at this sad time.

thank you Stu for reigniting my own passion for dignified respectful care at the end of life. You taught me that each person is a culture that we can explore with reverence and curiosity. That is when we can truly help them.
