Not sure what to say?

We miss you Stu and know you are in heaven with so many family and friends. Love and miss you

Mike and I are so sorry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Stu was such a kind and compassionate man.

Nellie,
I am sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you.

Dear Nellie, Cassie, John and family,
I was certainly taken aback when John called to let me know that Stuart had passed away. I am saddened with you for your loss, but I am also rejoicing in the fact that he is now in the presence of Jesus. One of my dad's favorite passages of Scripture which he quoted often in his later years, was II Cor.5:6-8 - "Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord 7 for we walk by faith,...

Dear FAMILY, I am deeply saddened by this news. My condolences to all. Stu was one of the most professional and nicest person I worked with in Newport News Shipbuilding. My favorite memory was our trip to the Bahamas for various testing and to record the now famous BIRMINGHAM (SSN 695)
breach photograph. An interesting fact was the Submarine was to breach in the opposite direction. Our team of Stu and Lloyd Everton made the quick recovery and history was made.
RIP Stu,
Bob Burns

Goodbye Stu, it was fun reconnecting with you many years ago at a community meeting at Temple Baptist. Thank you for your service to our country. Blessings on your family during this time. Your ole neighbor.

As I recall, and this could be a misremembered moment caught in time, back in the day at Warwick High, at our Senior Class Assembly just before we graduated in '62, Stu Gilman appeared on stage cycling a hula-hoop around his waist to wild applause!!! Having just read the write-up here of his lifetime accomplishments since then, I must say that he lived a very full and active life. Especially the singing. I can imagine Stu now with the Angels, I see him singing Barber Shop harmony that...

Our prayers are with the family. We had known Stu since Warwick High School and had enjoyed reconnecting in church..
