Not sure what to say?

Some people in life leave a lasting impression on you. Stu was one for me.

In the late 1980’s, I worked at Current, Inc. in Colorado Springs. I traveled on business to Artistic Greetings in Elmira to discuss greeting card personalization. Stu gave me a tour of the plant, and then we sat in his office and talked some business, but mostly sports! I remember him showing me his catchers mitt. He was very vivacious and sincere. I liked him very much. I was only at Current for a...

I caddied for Mr. Komer every time he played at SHCC, he asked for me, for some reason. I loved packing his bag, lots of fun. I had no idea he did all these things, I was young kid, just knew he was a big wig from Elmira. He swung the driver like a baseball bat, hit it 9 miles.

Stu Komer was a true leader , decisive trying to grow . I had good time from 1994-98 helping him and enjoying our daily lunch with trio .
He was genius and very helpful to community .
Last time I spoke to
Judy was in 2017 when she mentioned that he still thinks that he is managing a business in his nursing home. A great sense of humor , not ready to concile himself to his bed or his room .
We wish him a place in heaven . He took care of Judy and his family with lots...

Sorry for your loss my mother ellen hackett worked for him and his wife here in elmira, n.y. he was a awesome person God bless

Stu hired me to work at Artistic Greetings shortly after I returned to Elmira in 1984. He was kind, encouraging, and enthusiastic. An interesting man, he had original artwork hung throughout the Williams Street facility, as well as his professional baseball catcher's mitt in his office. He will be greatly missed by many.
