Not sure what to say?

Stuart had so much to give his community in many different capacities. So his time with we CAB Far North Bureau Workers in Kerikeri was precious and very much appreciated.
This morning we joined for a minute's silence to remember this lovely man who brought a wealth of worldly knowledge, considerable empathy and enthusiasm to the job of helping those people who turn to us for advice and a listening ear.

STUART LEITCH
Generous, selfless, knowledgeable, inspiring, volunteer, communicator, talker, walker, chef, community minded, organizer, raconteur, manager, family man, reliable, courageous, always good humoured and cheerful, thoughtful and giving; Stuart was all of these and much more. It was my lucky day to have met Stuart just five years ago and a privilege to have known him as a friend. His legacy provides a shining example of how to live.
Rest in Peace Stuart

"To a Mouse, on Turning Her Up in Her Nest With the Plough, November, 1785

Wee, sleekit, cowrin, tim'rous beastie,
O, what a pannic's in thy breastie!
Thou need na start awa sae hasty,

Has broken nature's social union,
An' justifies that ill opinion,
Which makes thee startle
At me, thy poor, earth-born companion,

I was humbled and honoured to be asked to sing, ... I do hope that my contribution will help you to look back at your life with Stuart and remember particularly how much he adored you.
...
[Stuart]was a wonderful friend, walking buddy, organiser, conversation maker and community participant, and he will be sorely missed by many. Everyone who knew him will go forward a better person for having known him. I hope that you can take some pride (and solace) in knowing that you contributed...

It goes without saying that I was very sorry to hear about Stuart's passing. I told as many blokes as I am still in touch with ... They all send you their love as do I. I was thinking about the days when we were all at Harrow Road at a time which seems slightly bonkers now. For all its faults my 10 years at Harrow Road were the best part of my service in the job. And it's really due to the people who were there at the time, you and Stuart included.

We send our condolences to you. Bob and I enjoyed our times together with your family and we will hold those wonderful memories of Stuart in our hearts.
