Stuart Lee Loveridge

Stuart Lee Loveridge passed away on April 29, 2018, in Antioch, California; he was 86. Lee was born in Connecticut, the son of Stuart Albert and Edna Loveridge. Lee married his childhood sweetheart Priscilla (Pril); they met in 4th grade and were later married for over 66 years. They had four children: Margot, Elinor, Stuart Andrew, and Tracey. Lee served in the U. S. Army, first as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division and later with Special Forces (Green Berets). He spent two years overseas during the Korean War. After the Army Lee had a long career as a salesman in the wholesale women's garment industry and later was the owner of a typesetting firm. Lee and Pril were both private pilots for many years and enjoyed frequent trips and excursions with friends and family. Lee is survived by his wife, Pril; his three daughters; his brother, Alan; several nieces and nephews; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He will be buried at the Sacramento Valley National Military Cemetery.
