Dr. Stuart McCombie

Worked for Dr. McCombie for a number of enjoyable years. We also played Tennis, after work, on the Upper Montclair NJ clay courts. I was lucky to have him as a friend.

Dear Jean! We currently cannot send postal mail to the USA (apparently not accepted), so I use this option to let you know that we feel very sad about Stuart's passing. Your card arrived today 2025-09-25. Stuart wrote last year about some health issues, but we didn't realise the seriousness of it. You must have gone through very hard times. I don't need to tell you all the great memories of the days in Liverpool. We were a really unique bunch of students in those early 70s having lots of fun...

Stu was my neighbor but more importantly a friend. I enjoyed our time together immensely. I learned from him, laughed with him, and leaned on him whenever I was in need of advice. I always chuckled when he referred to us as "intelligent blokes". Well, Stu, you were the wisest man that I´ve had the pleasure of knowing and though I couldn´t match your wit, I hope you knew what an impression you´ve left on me. Rest in peace friend. Bob
