"It only takes a spark to get a fire going" ..quote from "Pass it On" a favorite Camp song of the Cathedral Domain. Stuart lived his life this way, in all he touched, and everyone he knew. A tribute to a life well lived, and an inspiration to us all. To all who knew him, and especially to his family, Peace be with you. And to Stuart, A salute to being true to your dreams and holding steadfast to the most important things in life.

I had the privilage to work with Stuart in Cardiovascular Surgery at The Methodist Hospital in my early years there. I shall always remember him as a supportive and friendly with a personality that would put you at ease in a stressful situation. I'm proud to have met such a wonderful soul. I pray for his family, may they live a joyous life, the life he had wished to give them.

I met Stuart many years ago while playing a pickup basketball game at UK. We literally "ran into each other" on the court. reminded him of me but in reality,
it was the other way around. I am proud...

I worked with Stuart and Angie for 4 years at St. Joseph Hospital. One thing I remember about Stuart is how much love he had for Angie. His eyes just lit up when she walked into the room. He was so kind and gentle to everyone he met. He will truly be missed.

Dear Angie - I wish I could offer you the comfort that Stuart gave me the day he walked into Don's room in ICU - His gentle, kind nature eased my very terrified mind - I'm very sure you will continue to feel that comforting touch - Our love and prayers and with you and your son -

Stuart cared for my newborn son, Jaxtyn, this summer in the NICU at Texas Children's Hospital while Jax was on ECMO (heart/lung by-pass). Stuart and I spent countless hours talking at my son's bedside and he was a very kind, sweet man. He took his work very seriously and I always knew Jax was in good hands in Stuart's care. I never hesitated to leave my son's side to rest when Stuart was watching over him. I was very saddened today to hear of his passing. I pray that he is at peace and for...
