Not sure what to say?

Our heartfelt condolences to the family. Stuart was the first born of our friends. We watched him grow up and become a man, husband, & Father to emulate.

Dear Andy, Carrick, Meg and family, My heart truly breaks with this news. I'm sending so much love and strength to you all. Stu was truly one of a kind. Such a kind, smart, amazing person with seriously the best laugh ever. He was one of those people you meet once and immediately know what a special guy he is. The world won´t be the same without him, and I´m holding you all in my thoughts. <3

Even though I´ve got 30 or so years on him, we became friends over the past 4 years. Your obituary captures him so well. He was open and fun and related to people of all ages. His death was a powerful punch in the gut. I´m so glad to have known him. Bob Stafford

Meg, Andy, Harry and Peter, Our hearts go out to you during this sad time. We will always remember Stu for his radiant warmth, his endless generosity, and that wonderful humor that could bring a smile to anyone's face. He meant so much to both of us, especially to me as he was my boss for almost 12 years and the way he treated others continues to be a special inspiration to us. We are holding you close in our thoughts and prayers. With love, Shirley and Ernesto

Andy and Carrick, Meg and family, We are so sorry for your devastating loss of Stuart. We send our thoughts and prayers.

Stu was the smartest kid in our class at Town. Ok, there´s a handful of others who would debate that but, he knew he was smart and didn´t have to show it off. I remember shooting hoops with him at the playground across from his house on Clay. I´m pretty sure he and Meg were married at the Meadow Club above Fairfax... Suffice to say, that was probably the last time I saw him. But his parents often sent Xmas cards so could see his family from afar. I couldn´t believe, didn´t want to believe,...

Meg, you and the boys have been in my thoughts and prayers daily. I feel so lucky to have gotten to know Stu, and actually see him in my last trip to SF. I remember how engaged he was in getting to know what life has been like for me the last few years, and saw the love and happiness in his eyes that night. I hope other friends and family surround you with love and strength during this time, but know he will be with you forever in spirit. Much love.

Carrick & Andy- I am SO saddened to read this obituary. I remember Stuart so well. ...an adorable, redheaded, kind child who I taught at Town School. Having lost a child of my own, I can completely empathize with you. Que Stuart descanse en Paz Kai Doyle aka Ms Doyle
