Not sure what to say?

12 years since his passing but I still enjoy recounting my brag about once being mistaken for Stuart as I swam from Newcomb Hollow to Ballston Beach. I miss being able to swim at length in the ocean (for fear of being mistaken for a seal, not Stuart), and those early memories of his modeling great fitness and an active lifestyle as a grownup, to this starry eyed beach kid.

Sending love to Naomi, Sarah, Isaac and all your loved ones. I am so glad to have had a tiny bit of Stuart in my early life.

I am so sorry to hear of Stuart's death. I'll tell Erik and Tim and I know we will continue to remember him from those many summers we watched him on his longboard catching the perfect waves and seeing him far out beyond the breakers doing his powerful swims. There's Stuart! we'd always say, and it was somehow reassuring. I'll go over to Ballston Beach today and walk for him, by the ocean he loved. It's a beautiful warm day, and the waves will be big.

With deep sympathy

We were so sorry to hear of Stuart's passing. We will miss seeing him at the annual picnics as we did this year. May memories of happy times keep him alive in your hearts!

Fondly

Marcia and David Ambrose
