My condolences to Mr. Phillips' family, I was a student in Oakland when Mr. Stuart S. Phillips was our Superintendent. As a pupil at Prescott Elementary School, I knew then, we had a caring leadership. Through the years I have always wondered if Mr. Stuart S. Phillips was still with us. Sad to hear the news.
