Not sure what to say?

I worked as a BVHS Custodian 4 1/2years. I just saw this obit. Stuart was a good man. May the Blessing of Almighty God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit come upon his Soul, and remain forever. Amen.

Stuart will always remain in my heart. I will remember his humor and kindness always.

Stuart is very missed on this planet! His humor, his smile, his interesting conversations that came from his heart and brought knowledge to all those who listened are all missing and that is a great loss. I am thankful I could enjoy his presence and I continue to hold him in my heart.

I am sure he has been missed for months by many and now my missing begins. Carlos, I never met you, but Stuart was a professor and my closest advisor at Rockhurst. I am sorry for your loss.

Dr. Phipps was an amazing and inspirational teacher. He helped shape the person I am in my classroom everyday, and for that I am so grateful. He will never be forgotten.

Stuart remains in my heart every day. His light lifted me and continues to do so. I see his smile and hear his humor. Blessings to you Carlos, and all Stuart's family and friends. He remains among us.
Blessings, peace,
Jayne Sanderson

Additionally, as an alumni of Rockhurst, I was thrilled to learn he was teaching there. His telling me that he was teaching there was the last contact we had. I deeply...

Carlos, I pray that God pours His peace, comfort and most importantly, His love over you daily. Stuart played such an important role in my life.
His honesty, and genuine care
was a gift I recieved from him
over 10 years ago. Through his geniune spirit of love and compassion for people, he taught me the importance of being true to self. His message of acceptance of one another is one I try to share with my own students daily. Stuart invited me yearly to share my story with...
