Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to Dr. Sharp's family. I was saddened to hear of his passing. He was a true mentor as well as an excellent voice teacher during my time at Hope (and for a time my boss when I was a student working in the Hope music department office). He continued to be a mentor and encourager to me when I was in grad school and beyond. His influence, kindness and gentle way lives on in the memories and hearts of his students. Praying for God's peace to the family.

Craig,
Sorry to learn about the passing of your father. May God comfort you and your family.
Peace and love,

Just learned of Stuart's passing from a posting in the Chronicle. I had not heard until now. What a loss! I shared a teaching studio with him the last several years I was on the music faculty at Hope College. We had a wonderfully collegial relationship. He will be missed. My heart goes out to Linda, children and grandchildren. Peg Kennedy-Dygas

Hoping you will find comfort in the memories that are yours to cherish always, and strength in the companionship of those who share your loss.

Our fond memories of Stu extend over more than 55 years from Bucknell to a wonderful trip to Sicily and Italy last fall. Our thoughts and prayers are with Linda and the family. His spirit lives on in his family, his friends, and his students.
With our love, Jeff and Janet

Condolences from the Madison Clan. Our thoughts are with you. I will remember your dad's laughter and his love for you and his students.

Stuart, Thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family.
God Bless,
Steve
