RIP Stu. Your passing brings back many good memories. Many good times. You were great to work with. You were a great teacher and mentor when I was the second shift supervisor for Module Repair. You made a difference for many of us in this life. You will be missed.

This is such sad news. Stu was my boss when I was in Module Repair at Digital. It was around 1982 that I started working for Stu. He encouraged/allowed me to attend the Technical Upgrade 6 month class which resulted in my Associates at Colorado Technical College and an automatic promotion in his group. He was always so kind and such a wonderful boss. I am very sad for the loved ones that you left behind. Thank you for being you Stu. Bobbi Brown

I worked with Stu in 1980 & 1981. We were fellow supervisors at DEC on the cartridge line. He was fun to be around and supportive of me a newly promoted peer. What a great guy!

I'm a Vietnamese boat people in 1981, my first electronics assembly repair job in America, working for Stuart Tramell in 1981, I've learned so much by working for Stuart, that taught me that I must have a degree in America in order to advance in life. Stu, it is with sadness that I write this here. While we may not have always agreed on things, we always worked it out in the end and moved the team forward. Your sense of humor and patience allowed us to do that. Thank you for the insight and education I gained while working with you. I have tried my best to put it into action at each assignment I've had since that time. My prayers go out for your close friends and family in this time of hardship.

You were a great friend and mentor to me when I needed one, which made me a better trainer, and a better person. May you rest in peace, dear friend.
