Thank you, Dr Updike. I was counting my blessings just now for my Dexacom G7. I´m 66 yo woman . I was diagnosed with TD1 when I was 10 yo. I have certainly witnessed the miracles of researchers like you. Through your dedication to patients like us, you have changed the terrain of diabetic care. Dear Mrs. Updike, I never had the chance to meet your husband, but I wanted to let you know how profoundly his work has impacted my life. I´ve been living with diabetes for 49 years and am fortunate to have completed four Ironman races - something I couldn´t have done without the technology he helped pioneer. Thanks to the glucose monitor he developed, I´m not only alive today, but thriving. His legacy lives on in the daily lives of so many, including mine. Please accept my deepest gratitude.
