Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Sue's passing. We lived across the street from her and Mark. They came to visit us after we moved back to WV. She always was so sweet and a delight to talk to. Will miss her.

I am heartbroken. I met The Alderman's when I moved from West Virginia. We were neighbors. I left in 1993, and continued my friendship with Sue all these years. I spoke to her every week. Sue was a special person in my life. My condolences to the family.

Sue had my son in her Sunday Scool class at 4 years old. She was always such a delight to the children. As he grew up in years, she always checked in on how he was doing. She was always excited to hear from her students and how they progressed. Such a wonderful person and will be so missed from HRBC. Sending my condolences to all.

Sue has and always will have a special place in the hearts of our family. As our grandson Taylor said, she helped raised me. ( they shared a close bond) They say it takes a village, but none did it better than Sue! She will be deeply missed, but look forward to the day when we can all be together again. We lost an angel here on earth but heaven gained a beautiful soul!

Cheryl, Amy and family, we pray that the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with and within each of you as you mourn for your mom. Sue was such a faithful member of our church and she will be sorely missed! She loved greeting families as they entered the church building and made such a difference through her smile and warmth. Know that you are all in our prayers in these days and weeks to come. Blessings, Pastor Bob Lee, HRBC

We enjoyed our years with Sue in the choir at Huguenot Road Baptist Church. We missed her greatly after she stopped singing. She was glad to share memories of her youth in Norfolk, including her church memories, visits to Dumar's Drive-In, and her mother's incomparable crab cakes. We share a sense of loss at Sue's passing. May God comfort all who loved her.

My sincerest condolences. Sue was my friend and a long time customer for Mary Kay Cosmetics. We shared many memories. I was unaware of her illness and would have called her this week. She will be missed by so many. Praying for you all. Rhonda Hammonds

Amy, so sorry for your loss. Think about you often. Hope you're doing well. You will get through this.
