Sue Selvy Bailey entered this life on March 23, 1947, the daughter of Dan & Mary Gray Selvy, both of whom preceded her in death. She was born and raised in Pineville, Kentucky, attending school there. She had resided the past twenty five years in Switzerland County, Indiana. She was the devoted companion of Jerry H. Vogel and they had shared many wonderful years together. She had worked along side Jerry helping with their businesses the Damvue Auto Sales and J. H. Vogel Trucking Company. She also had worked the past three years at Arvin Sango in Madison as a stamping machine operator. Sue enjoyed fishing, reading, crocheting, knitting & going to the Ocean. Sue never met a stranger and she was a devoted mother and a special Mamaw Sue to her grandchildren. Sue left this life suddenly in a tragic accident at work at 10:47 pm on Monday, March 14, 2005, in Madison, Indiana at the age of 57 years, 11 months and 19 days old. She will be missed greatly by her family & friends.

Sue leaves to mourn her passing her beloved companion: Jerry H. Vogel of Florence, Indiana; her loving daughter: Mary Henry & her husband: Jimmy of Ghent, Kentucky; her loving son: Dan Michael Bailey & his wife: Pat of Dayton, Kentucky; her loving step son: Roger L. Vogel & his wife: Diane of Carrollton, Kentucky; her loving sister: Patty Gray of Bemble, Kentucky; her loving brothers: Jimmy Selvy of Corbin, Kentucky; David Selvy of London, Kentucky; her loving grandchildren: Tiffany, Jennifer, Jeremy, Josh, Audrey, & Dusty; several nieces, nephews & other relatives. She was also preceded in death by her brother: Danny Selvy.

Sue will be remembered in a funeral ceremony conducted on Saturday, March 19, 2005, at 11:00 am by Rev. Ronald Sandidge at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana. Visitation will be conducted on Friday, from 5-7 pm & Saturday from 9 am until time of the service at the funeral home. The family requests memorials in memory of Sue to the New Life Fellowship Church, contribution cards are available at the funeral home. Sue desired that at her death for her remains to be cremated.

Mary, I am so sorry for you and your brother and your children. I didn't know anything until last night at work and Janet Shaver told me about it. I thought about you all night.I really liked Sue alot when we worked together. Thought about you all ever since the factory closed.If there is anything i can do for you just let me know. You all are in my prayers.
