Not sure what to say?

Miss Clark was a teacher that encouraged all her students to succeed. I was a member of the tankateers. One thing I'll never forget about Miss Clark, she could teach anyone to do synchronized swimming without ever getting into the water. Another memory I have is one evening when we were practicing for our show, the school received a bomb threat. Instead of evacuating, Miss Clark said, let's run through it one more time. We would do anything for Her. I have so many wonderful memories of...

She was always one of my favorite teachers. I remember her throwing me in the deep end of the pool when I hesitated. Might not have worked for everyone but it was exactly the right thing to do for me.

Rest in Peace dear friend. I spent a year living with Sue and 2 other teachers from Lakewood High School in 1968. We had frequent late night bridge games and lots of laughter. My last visit with her was on Kelly's Island in Lake Erie with another friend Carol. a couple years ago. I was always delighted by her annual Christmas cards with an amazing photo. May she sing and play her guitar for eternity. Sincere condolences to family and friends.

Sue was a delightful friend.

We first met as teachers together at Lakewood High School in the late 60's. She and I had a wonderful summer of travel in Europe 50 years ago. We picked up a new car for her mom in Germany and drove it all over the continent. On another trip, she introduced me to camping and taught me how to pitch a tent and take a cold shower on the beach at Cape Hatteras.

We were in touch over the years and visited back and forth. She visited my husband and me...

I have such fond memories with "Miss Clark" who guided us through Tankateers and added new dimensions to friendships and swimming. Fifty one years later, I'm still enjoying doing "ballet legs" and "kips" and thinking of her! ❤

Sue Clark was a great teacher and coach. I joined the Tankateers in high school and had such a great time with all the participants and Sue guiding everyone. She will be missed!

Sue Clark was a member of our Monaqua swim club over 40 years. We have many fond memories of outings and special times spent in Sandusky at a members boathouse. We kayaked in Akron and rode a boathouse with Pat Reppa family. Our latest special event was when she made Pumpkin stew for all our swim friends. She was loved and will be truly missed.

To the family of Sue Clark,

I am so sorry for your loss. Sue was my Gym Teacher at Lakewood High School from 1964-1967. I loved her and can only imagine how much happiness she spread during her lifetime.

Sue was a kind person. Please accept condolences from a fellow church member at WSUUC. May peace be yours during this difficult time.
