Sue Johnson of Barrington A Mass of Christian Burial for Sue Johnson (nee Scroggins), 68, will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St. (corner of Franklin and Ela Streets), Barrington. Entombment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington. Born Nov. 3, 1942, in Auburn, Ill., she passed away peacefully Aug. 2, 2011, at her home. Sue was a member and past president of the Barrington Art Associates and a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She enjoyed doing needlepoint and gourmet cooking. Survivors include her husband, Roger L. Johnson; children, Chad (Kelly) Johnson and Bart (Tricia) Johnson; grandchildren, Baye, Olivia, Lily, Ella, Ben and Owen; sisters, Martha Mausshart, Pat Bland, Nancy Rehm, Mary Kuhn and Barbara Askelson; brothers, Herman Scroggins, Robert Scroggins and Leroy Scroggins; and many loving nieces, nephews and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Genevieve (nee Bateman) Scroggins.
