Not sure what to say?

Sue was a wonderful friend and patron to the UVM Department of Theatre. On the night that she would have been attending with her friend Andrew I am truly saddened. " I 've heard it said that people come into our lives for a reason..." Wicked

I was very sorry to hear of Sue's passing, but glad to hear it was peaceful. For years, I had a studio in Union Station just down the hall from Sue's. We had many conversations about art, music, children, camping, etc. etc. She was a lovely person with a wonderful eye for beauty. I'm so happy I bought one of her paintings!

I was saddened yesterday to learn of Sue's death. I met her several (?) years ago @ the UU Church. I had lost touch with her recently, but have fond memories -- and her recipes in the UU Cookbook (1994)!

I wish I had had an opportunity to introduce her and my daughter; she is an objects' conservator at the Brooklyn museum.

My sincerest sympathy to her family. May her memories & love last forever....

Thank you for inviting me on Saturday. I am committed to be at Crown Point for the Champlain Dedicstion and will be on the Schooner LOIS McClure that day.All the best.........Ernie Haas

I am saddened to hear that Sue has pasted away , I got to meet Sue a year ago when I was getting married what a sweet woman . She will always be in our hearts and memory . She has touched many people because of her kindness . - Nicki Degraaf ( Vergennes )

I'll miss you Sue, as will so many others. I found your mittens last week after cleaning out my locker, and remembered how you made me take them last December because you said I wasn't dressed warmly enough. And then you gave me a ride home anyway. Your beautiful spirit will not be forgotten.

I have known Sue for many years as a member of my Fitness and Aging class at the University of Vermont. She was always interested in maintaining her physical, mental and spiritual well- being. She was a very talented, artistic, holistic lady.
I am saddened to hear of her death. Barbara Jordan

I had the pleasure of knowing Sue for the past 6months, but the memory of her wisdom, love and grace shall be with me forever. With nearly 60 years difference between us, I have never been so touched by the strength and will of another human being. Her compassion for loving life and loving others should be an inspiration to all. Her works adorn my home, and her prose echoes in my mind. Her presence will be missed; but her smile, her love, and her laughter shall never leave my heart.
