Sue Ann Shannon

I noticed today that we've just passed the anniversary of Mrs. Shannon's passing, and I realized that I had never added my words here. I hope my memories of her will comfort.

For more than nine years, Mrs. Shannon taught me more than just the piano. I certainly was not one of her most gifted students! But working with my limitations behind the piano, she helped me to use music as a tool to connect with others and to understand the world through the composers and instruments of the past.
