Sue Thompson

Sue Thompson, 88, of Blytheville, passed from this life Monday, October 6, 2014 at her home. Sue was born in Blytheville, to Buster and Vera (Alford) Richardson, and was the former manager of Mode-a-Day Women's Store. She was an avid reader and animal lover, and loved her cocker spaniel Dusty. She loved to work in her yard and her flowers, especially her roses. Sue was also an active member of the First Baptist Church. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold Thompson, Jr., and a son Michael Thompson. She is survived by two sons, Stanley Thompson and his wife BeeBee of Tuscon, Arizona, and Kent Thompson and Beverly Bryant of Blytheville; a sister, Betty Lewis of Blytheville; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Friday, October 10, 2014 at Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Justin King officiating. There will be no visitation.
