Swartz Funeral Home - Flint Obituary

WOLFORD, SUE ANN (nee Waidler) – Of Flushing, age 63, passed away February 16, 2026, at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, MI.

Sue was born on December 8, 1962 in Flint, Michigan, to Wesley and Connie Waidler of Grand Blanc MI.

She grew up in southern Genesee County surrounded by a large family before graduating from Grand Blanc High School and marrying her high school sweetheart, Randy Wolford. Together they had two children, Christopher and Jessica.

Sue eventually went on to graduate from Baker College of Flint twice, once in 1995 with an Associate’s degree, and again in 2002 with her Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Sue worked several jobs during her life before finally getting to retire in 2023.

During her free time, Sue enjoyed traveling, camping, rock hounding, crafting and catching up on reading books by her favorite authors, but nothing beat spending time with her friends and family, the people who meant the most to her.

Sue is survived by her husband Randy; son, Christopher; daughter Jessica and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Connie Waidler, and brother James.

There will be no memorial service.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
