Sundee Lynn Varga

SUNDEE LYNN VARGA HOBART, IN Sundee Lynn Varga, age 40, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Sundee was born in Valparaiso on September 30, 1970 to Norma and Bert Varga. She spent nine months in Las Vegas, but was otherwise a lifelong Lake County resident. Sundee was employed as a cage cashier at Blue Chip Casino and was previously employed at Town and Country in Portage for many years. She loved giving her time to charitable organizations and disabled veterans. Sundee also loved music, especially Led Zeppelin, photography, blanket making and crossword puzzles. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and a wonderful friend. Sundee is survived by her loving parents: Bert and Norma Varga of Lake Station; sister, Tina (John) Jones of Valparaiso; brother, Allen Varga of Valparaiso; three nephews: Jacob Cruz, Devin Wilson, and Chase Jones; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; and the Thomas family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Ernest and Annabelle Patten, and Gabriel and Mary Lee Varga. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hobart Humane Society, the American Cancer Society, or Disabled American Veterans. A funeral service for Sundee will be held Monday, May 23, 2011 at 12:00 noon with visitation just prior to service from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart.
