Not sure what to say?

Aloha Bob, I had some "free time" and was perusing the internet. I was looking at obituaries, and saw Sunny's obit, but was not sure if she was related to you. I send my sincere condolences to you and your ohana. Sunny's death is very recent so I assume you are still adjusting to her passing. You do not know me. My deceased husband, Tommy Hirano, went to Pacific U fall 1960-61. Your friendship at Pacific helped him survive his lonely year at Pacific. He was soooo homesick. During Covid...

A wonderful lady. Our condolences to her family. MaryAnn and Phil Barnekoff.

Being our neighbors on Hillwood Dr was a gift. I have many happy memories. Bob, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Thinking of you. Jan

My condolences to the Iboshi family. So sad to hear this news. I had the privilege of working with Sunny. She was an amazing teacher and friend!

My condolences to the Iboshi Family she will be dearly missed.

My dear sweet friend is what Sunny was to me. Our first meeting was back in the early 1970's when I joined the Hillsboro Jr. Womens Club. We had lots of projects going on and Sunny was always volunteering and helping out in any way possible. Sunny insisted on sewing our 3 year old daughter a beautiful red velvet dress for Christmas. I still have that lovely dress. We often had lunch, had lots of laughs and memories together. The last time I saw Sunny was on her birthday on May 20th,...

I first met Sunny when she became my "go to" substitute teacher when I taught PE at Mooberry Elementary. She knew my style and subject so well there were times I just told her the activity I was teaching and she filled in the blanks. I enjoyed teaching her wonderful children. Sunny was so loved by the staff. She was a sparkle on everyone's life journey. Thank you Sunny.

Kyle, your mom sounds so lovely. I'm so sorry for your loss. Take good care, Mary Fetsch

When Sunny came to Hillsboro she was like a California movie star. So darling, fun, blond and full of life. She was a marvelous teacher. She was always good to Her students and helped them thrive. Her and Bob were marvelous contributors to the good of Hillsboro. Their kids are also shinning stars. She will be missed. Sincerely, Jan Maier
