Dearest Becky and Family and Friends of Beautiful Surel~
Just yesterday, (Oct. 31) I learned of Surel's death. I have not been a part of the unique Boise circle of artists for years now. But, I am honored to have known Surel and knwon her just as the obiturary in the Statesman says--her inimitable artistry, citizenry, warmth, humor, and pananche with all things and people.

I was also a classmate of Surel's and have fond memories of pajama parties at Surel,s house and Mary Ann Istenes So sorry for our loss.
