Condolences to his family. I had the pleasure of working for him at his jewelry store in AA. He was a gentleman's gentleman, and fondly remembered to this day, for his skill of teaching how to make beautiful European style jewelry.

I used to help out with transporting rugs from the Ann Arbor store to Hagopian's huge rug bathing place in Southfield -- and back again. That was in the mid-1970s. I liked Suren, and I've always wondered what happened to him after he left Ann Arbor. -- Wystan Stevens, Ann Arbor historian.
