Not sure what to say?

No way. I did not hear this sad news about Susal. I am so sorry for your loss Susal, you were a wonderful angel. Life is so short. May the Lord Rest your soul in peace. I know so many students of our time at SIT have not heard of this. I am so sorry and so sad. I am sorry.

I remember Susal being the organizer of the Pro Choice call center in Uptown by the old Schlamps in the late '70s.
She was calm, inspiring and gave me the sense that we were going to accomplish our goals.
Working with her was a pleasure.
When she left for Nepal to trek the Himalayas I was very much affected by a sense of loss knowing she would be sorely missed by the feminist community.
I see she went on to achieve so much and I admire her greatly and am so glad to have...

I am so very sorry for your profound loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Susal through William, the brother of my dear friend Tyrell Collins and, coincidentally, the sister of Beth, an old friend from Walla Walla. I remember hearing about William's new and deep love and, when I met Susal, I sensed her intelligence, energy, and passion. I imagine that she will be profoundly missed. She clearly touched many lives. My heart is with you all.

So sorry to hear of your loss our thoughts are with you.

My name is Mim Maas and I live in Wadena, Minnesota. I worked with Susal back in the 1990's at Minnesota NOW. I was so sad to hear of her passing. She was so dedicated to NOW and many other social change issues and she was a wonderful, talented and strong woman! My condolences go to her husband, family and friends.
