My name is Dawne (Gallagher) Murray. Susan and I were childhood friends and lived very close to one another. We were friends for many years. I remember her love of animals as well as her singing lessons. Another one of our high school classmates called to let me know of her passing. I was very sad to hear the news. She spoke of her brothers often.

I just loved Susan Self Adams. She never said "no" I cannot judge a Royalty Contest. She was a sweetheart and Bossier Parish Riding Club was thrilled to have her each year judging their Royalty Contest. She was very "uplifting" to the girls! She shared her expertise with all young ladies, including my own some 18 years ago, that needed her help with a rodeo queen contest. I will truely miss Susan...she was a very special lady!
