Not sure what to say?

Dear Richard and Family,

Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to you and your entire family on the loss of your dear wife and mother Sue.

We also felt her warmth and loving spirit whenever we visited the Carrot Barn. She always greeted everyone as though they were family. She will be missed. But I believe that her spirt will live on in the lives of those who had the priviledge of meeting her.

May God's Peace Be With You All,
Dorothy Hogan and...

From the very first days as the new owners of the Schoharie Valley Farms, Richard and Susan were considered friends even though we were simply customers. Susan was always gracious and smiling, even in the busiest of store times. We are so shocked and saddened by her death. We will miss her so much even as we hope that Richard and his family will endure the loss.

Dear Richard & Family,

On behalf of the entire New York Farm Bureau Board of Directors & Staff, I want to extend our deepest sympathy.

Susan was a wonderful wife, devoted mother, and true supporter of our agricultural community. Susan’s positive and engaging personality is one that will be truly missed.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this very difficult time.

As a Carrot Barn customer, I always enjoyed Sue and marveled at her spark and energy. She was everywhere at once! I miss her and didn't even know her. My heart felt condolences to the Ball family for your loss.

As a loyal Carrot Barn customer, I was deeply saddened to learn of Susan's passing. My deepest sympathies to her her family. Susan was always a joy to speak with, always greeting me with a smile or answering any questions. She will be greatly missed.

I was saddened to hear from Auntie Eileen that Susan had passed away. On behalf of cousin Patty and her family, I wish to extend our heart-felt condolences to the Markham family.

Susan was the main reason for our once a month sojourn from Slingerlands to the Carrot Barn starting in May and ending just before Thanksgiving. She always had a smile for us along with great advice and suggestions on growing. She was an amazing gardener, farmer, creator of the Carrot Barn space, and friend to all. We will miss her very much. Our prayers are with her whole family at this difficult time of loss. How lucky we all were to have known Susan.

Richard, Ethan, Sarah, and Jolyn-
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Susan was a wonderful person who impacted many lives. Try to be strong. God bless all of you.
Love,
Sandy and Bob Cseh
