Not sure what to say?

I met Susie when I attended MSU from 1971-1975, when she worked for the highway dept., loved her personality.. guess we just lost track of one another when I graduated, moved back home to teach. I'll never forget her though. I enjoyed reading peoples' comments on here about her. God bless

I met Bandy in the early 1990s. She quickly became like a big sister to me. Such a great sense of humor. She was always plotting something. People gravitated to her because of her humor and generosity. Staying active, she handled retirement well. Too bad she didn't have more time to enjoy it. Too bad we don't have more time to enjoy her company. I will always cherish our times together, particularly in Duluth. I was looking forward to another mah jongg lesson. A party to celebrate...

I still cannot believe Bandy is gone. I grew up across the street from her and thought of her as big sister. Of course, as a little kid, I thought her and my older brother were out to exclude me. This is like the loss of family member for me. I will miss her but I am planning to be there for the party.

I worked with Sue in the Eng-Water Management Div., DNR. What a spirit. Her many friends and co workers will miss her laugh. So long Sue and save me a seat at the big staff meeting.

So sorry to hear of Susie's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are for her and her family.
This is April Gill, Ruth Cavanaugh's daughter.

I remember Sue fondly from our high school days. Some of my most cherished memories include Susie. My good thoughts are with her family and friends. She will be missed.

In the spirit of Sue's wishes to celebrate her life and remember the laughter, I offer this. It must have been in the early or mid-1980s when a friend of mine introduced me to Sue. A bunch of us state government women including Sue went camping at a county park somewhere. A few of us very modestly skinny dipped in broad daylight, hanging by our arms or hands from our rafts. We were being so silly. We noticed that wherever we floated, the young men fishing far, far away in the shallows...

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
