Susan Bellamy

Susan was a wonderful person, and I will never forget how I looked forward to the messages she left on my answering machine. She loved her family and the city of Grand Rapids, and I feel blessed to have known her. May she rest eternally in the arms of God.

My mother was a resident in the Heartside Community for 20 years. She attended church regularly at both Heartside Ministry and Degage Ministry. She was a good neighbor and friend to everyone that new her.
Susan suffered from mental illness for 35 years. To me she was brave. She chose to live life on her own terms which was not easy. She had a good support system through Touchstone Innovare and those people became her friends and looked out for her. She lived at the Herkimer...

I had the honor of knowing and working with Sue for a number of years. Despite her illness, her kindness and beautiful smile always came through. It's wonderful to know she did move to Wisconsin which was something she hoped for. She always remembered me and I will never forget her. May God hold you all as you grieve and celebrate her life.
