Susan Berman

It was my pleasure working with Susan, eventhough she was unable to express herself to me through speech she had her own special ways of reaching me. Susan felt more to me like a member of my family than my patient. I will miss her a great deal and I know that those brown eyes of hers will always be watching me. You are gone but never forgotten. Ta-Te (my grandaughter) and I will miss you more than anyone can imagine. I am so greatful I got the pleasure of meeting you and being a companion/caregiver for you. I will never forget Susan and her will to live in the face of her debilitating illness. Her courage, sense of humor and zest for living life to the fullest was unbelievable and a true lesson in how life should be lived every single day. Though it has been several years since I had contact with Susan, I have often thought of her. I wanted to extend my condolences to David and Ellen, Peter, Ann and Lydia.
