Susan M. Berry, 55, of County Road 550, Marquette, passed on Thursday, November 25, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Berry was born on August 14, 1949 in Detroit to the late James and June Cameron Conroy. Susan was a 28 year employee of Marquette General Hospital, as well as an active supporter of Bay Cliff Health Camp and a participant in the Relay for Life for many years. Susan's hobbies included stain glass work, canning, star and lake gazing. Most of all, Sue was a devoted and loving friend, sister and aunt. As a friend said: 'I was grateful for the honor and privilege of knowing her.' Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Berry as well as her parents. Survivors include a sister, Sharon Patrick Marion of Royal Oak and their children, J.P. Marion also of Royal Oak and Heather Marion of Marquette; sister-in-law, Joan Tigges of Milan, OH and her children, Adam and Angela Byington and grand nephew, Little Clay of Milan, OH; brother-in-law, Dave Jan Sabin Berry of Marquette and their children, Dave Jr. and Kali of Marquette; sister-in-law, Colleen Tom McCarthy of Saugatuck and their children, Maggie and Kevin. Honoring Susan's wishes, there will be no service at this time. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
