I just learned of Susan's passing. We knew each other since the 1970s. I was from Lawrence and was friendly with her cousin Margie Sobil, who introduced us. I had not seen Susan since about the 1980s, and was "friended" by her last year on FaceBook. I couldn't believe that she remembered me, but I was thrilled that she did. Now, I am shocked at her loss, and will always remember her as a good looking young woman with style a friendly way about her. I hope that her family is comforted by the kind words left by so many.

Michael, I am sorry for the loss of your wife.
Stan and Ronnie, I am so sorry that you have to endure the loss of your sister. I know how heartbreaking the loss of a sibling is but you will always have your memories of your sister close to your heart. You will always remember the many laughs you shared growing up.

I was Suzi's Fedex driver for a couple of years and we became friends. She was always so nice and giving. It was a pleasure getting to know her and I always liked going to chat with her. She will be deeply missed. My sympathies to Michael and their family. She will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Michael,
My deepest sympathy goes to you and Suzi's family. During our trip in September when she watched George for us, her love for life and animals, her caring personality shined through. I enjoyed her daily updates via text messages. I never worried and new that; as difficult as George can be; he was being loved. She was an exceptional woman that will be truely missed.

I am truly sorry for your loss and pray that God can offer you comfort and some peace over the weeks and months ahead.
To Suzi I did not know you all that long I felt we knew each other for much longer. You were a very kind and gracious woman. I enjoyed the trip to New York where we really first got to know each other, the times we met at the lodge, the laughs over that game someone submitted to the yard sale last year, and for taking such loving care of my George.
May you rest in peace and may God hold you in his embrace. I will see you again someday. For now I shall miss you.
