Susan will always be thought of with fond memories. I met Susan during my high school years after I developed a friendship with her youngest son, Stafford. Since that time I have had the opportunity to share many great experiences with the Boyd famiy and am lucky to call them all friends. Susan impacted my life and many others in a positive manner and I know she will be missed greatly by all who had the pleasure to know her.

I had the pleasure of Susan and Al's company as members of the crew at the Zephyr Point Conference Grounds at Lake Tahoe in the summer of 1955.
I lost touch even though we all ended up living in Sacramento. I missed saying goodbye in person but shall not do so at Susan's memorial service.

I am deeply saddened by Susan's passing. I remember playing at her house often when she and my mom would have coffee. My prayers go out to her family.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Susan's passing. I remember her as a community representative for Encina High School, who took nearly 2 hours to give my then stepson and I a tour of Encina, and she was more than available to answer questions for us. My stepson chose Encina over El Camino, and was able to be involved in a large offering of events, there. Susan truly cared about the staff and students there, and we will never forget her kindness nor her enthusiasm. My condolences to...

I will always remember happy summer Saturdays at Camp Sac when the Legionaires dance band drove up to play the Big Dance! With her salty wit and appreciation of music, Susan made those jobs such fun, including the after-hours kitchen raids and the honky-tonk piano bashing that may--or may not--have gone on. I can only imagine how much her family must miss her already, and I am glad you will have such lively memories of Sue.
