Not sure what to say?

Teaching came naturally to Sue, and what an inspiration for so many. In her heart, she was truly patient and kind. She loved her students (human and animal) and devoted her entire life to offering the best education to others that she could provide. Countless hours around the clock were spent in barns caring for sick or injured horses. Sue was dedicated to the science of animal husbandry/management and veterinary medicine and faithfully shared everything she knew. Horses were her passion and...

Sue and Whimsy in Baton Rouge

The Canter is a cure for every evil Benjamin Disraeli

I think Sue lived this quote.

Sue Bruns was my friend and her death has been such a loss. I am greatly saddened. Sue was smart and fun and kind. She loved her horses, was worshipped by her dog Sage and challenged by her diabolical cats. She was a great advocate for animals. She was a good friend. She is missed.

Sue was a wonderful woman who gave freely to her friends and animals. Dedicated to her work and volunteering to help others. May she rest in peace,

I am so very sorry to hear of Sue's passing. I grew up with her and shared her love of horses. We spent a lot of time riding together and sharing our knowledge. The week that my horse, Sheba, and I spent with Sue and her horse, Corona, while her parents were on vacation is one week I will never forget.

Hard working and passionate describes Sue her running the UNH horse barns. RIP Sue.

Sue was an amazing horsewoman. She taught me so much when I worked for her at UNH. You will be missed but I know you are looking over all the critters from heaven now.

I remember Sue and worked with her at the UNH horse barns when I was employed at Farm Services. She also employed me from time to time. Very hard working person who gave a lot to UNH and Durham Ambulance Corp, now McGregor Memorial.

Sue was an integral member of McGregor Memorial EMS both as an EMT and as a volunteer officer. She was always present to help others and others returned the favor when she was injured. As Executive Director and on behalf of McGregor Memorial EMS and the UNH community, we extend our deepest sympathies at this tragic time.
