Not sure what to say?

Good memories stay in our hearts for many years, maybe forever. There was a time in Plano and Richardson Texas when we were friends with Susan and Mike and our daughter Lynette was a good friend of Polly's, pre college. We had special evenings and dinners with them. Susan's smile, her wit, her laughter and love of life were infectious. Those memories warm our hearts, and we wish only the best for Mike and the family.

Mike, Beverly & I treasure our times with you and Susie, although they were relatively short in the big scope of things. We lived vicariously through her letters as she described your adventures around the world. I love the picture above...her smile, outdoors, ready to go and do something amazing. Our very best to you and the families, as our thoughts of comfort go out to you. Greg & Beverly Moore

Mike and Family
We were so fortunate to be able to meet Susan and know her warm sunshine attitude she always had. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you

I am so very sorry to hear that Susie is no longer making the world a better place for all of us. I first met Susie in 1958 at Catalina High School. We were pals with a large group of girls and had a blast for 4 years. The last time I was with Susie was in 2005 in the Bay Area with Carolyn and Willow. We shared a wonderful weekend full of memories that I am so thankful for. My sympathy to Mike and her daughters and the entire family. Susie will be missed but never forgotten.

Susan Salant Burdick was one of my best friends at Catalina High School. She was such a love, an exceptional spirit. God is lucky to have her.

Having known her daughter Polly and hearing all the wonderful things her grandchildren had to say about Susan...I can only say that she was a beautiful person and has raised a beautiful daughter whom I admire every day!.. Heaven has accepted another angel....Love to all....

We got to know Susan through the Sabino Canyon Volunteer Naturalist group. It was always great to see her walking in the canyon with friends. Her smile and positive attitude was inspirational. We'll miss her. Jean & Mark Hengesbaugh

Sue has been a role model for all of us to live life to the fullest every day even when challenges are in front of us.
