To the families of John, Alfred, and to Jane Winters:

I was fortunate to grow up in Quincy with Susan; she was my sister Lynn's best childhood friend, just as Susan's cousin Kathryn was my best friend.

We have wonderful memories of our school years together in Quincy, as well as Girl Scout outings and badge adventures since Ann, Susan's mother, and my mother were co-leaders together.

I love Susan, she dealt with my father which must have been difficult, she was a very understanding person looking for good rather than bad. When I called her number and her friend answered, told me she was sick and unable to talk my heart sank thinking how unfair life is knowing that she never got to move to Fl which was her plan. She was a awesome women, top shelf can't say enough good about her.

So sorry for your loss, l have many fond memories of Susan. My thoughts and prayers are with you John and Al

So sorry to hear this. Susan was a beautiful girl, someone I admired, in school. I remember her modeling for our drawing class at Quincy Art Center. It is good to hear that she had so much success in her career.
