I just learned of Susan's home going about a month ago and I have been devastated. I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I worked with Susan at SouthTrust Bank and loved her every since. A true christain lady and did have a way of making everyone around her feel very special. I had talked to her maybe just a week or so before she went home to be with our Father in Heaven. We would talk 3 or 4 times a year since I had left the bank and then she left soon after.
I do want you to know that...

Such a sweet person!

She seemed genuinely happy in her job at Cracker Barrel. We had such long conversations there that I was always afraid her supervisor would come over and tell her to get back to work. Somehow, she managed to be personable and still get the job done. Having her little apron displayed at the visitation was a precious and touching...

I am very sorry to hear of Susan's passing. She was a big part of the extended "family" growing up at Lake Highland Baptist Church. A very special person; she was always kind and honest to everyone. My dad always thought of her as one of his own.

Susan and I were in the same Sunday School Class at Bethel Baptist Church in Moody. Susan always had a smile for everyone each Sunday. She loved her family and would often request prayer for family or friends because of her love and concern for them. We will miss her each Sunday, but know that she has made her final journey home and can rest in the arms of Jesus.
