Susan was my sister and she was most likely my first "friend" Growing up we were friends and then we were not and then we were again; as siblings it is to be expected I suppose. As adults, we drifted in and out of each other's daily lives touching base on occasion. We lived in the same city. In the past year we had started going to yoga together once a week. She was my baby sister and I always imagined that she would be there the next time I reached out until one day she was just gone. So I had known her for her entire life, but last Sunday afternoon I met so many people that knew her in a whole different way than I did or that my brothers did.
She had many different circles of friends and all these circles came together Sunday afternoon to share food and share memories of Susan. Sometimes laughing, sometimes crying, sometimes both. I even met someone there that I had met quite a number of years ago who had been friends with my husband when I first met him and there she was, at the gathering, she knew my sister, I never knew that they knew each other. We are all so connected in ways that are not even imaginable
When my sister slipped away on September 24, 2019, the world became a much sadder place than I had even realized. My brothers and I were not the only ones who lost Susan. The whole world has lost her, or at least a big ole part of it. I hope we can all be a little gentler with each other. Life is indeed fragile. I love you baby sister

She taught me so much about weaving. She was smart, funny and loved a good glass of mead. I will miss her.

I will miss you my dear friend. You have always been the outlandish vivacious friend we all wished we had the stones to be. Honest and loyal and always there in a pinch we will miss you terribly. May you be wrapped in Gods soft wool and napping on a cloud.

I am so sorry to have heard of Susan's passing. I have not seen her for awhile, but, always think of her. She was talented, she had the greatest dry wit of anyone ever, she made me smile every time I saw her. I hope she is on a beautiful journey and at peace. Marge Harrington, Mesa, AZ

RIP my Dear Friend Susan Clark.
We had YEARS of great friendship!
I remember filling balloons with confetti for your New Year's Eve party and when they were popped, confetti everywhere. Months later you were still finding confetti around the house cussing me out!
Then the trip to California in your new Ford Probe for you best friend's wedding in Escondido. And the other friend that lived there too in the Avocado Grove. Oh my gosh, never believed Avocado trees grew that huge. That was a great trip.
Plus following the Midnite Blues band from Warsaw Wally's, Az Center downtown Phx, to Casa Grande and to Jerome where we stayed at the haunted hotel.
Always searched you out at the Renaissance Festival.
Oh my! We shared some adventures didn't we?
Miss you FRIEND!
