Not sure what to say?

Mr. & Mrs. Colby and Carolyn,
My heart is heavy as I've just learned about Sue... I'm so sorry and please know my thoughts are with all of you. I have so many wonderful college memories of Sue and am extremely thankful she was the one to kick it all off as my very first roommate. I couldn't have asked for a kinder, purer, sweeter, or more steadfast soul. May the Lord be generous in providing you with strength and comfort in the days ahead.

I was so sorry to hear of Sue's passing at far too young an age. I hope your wonderful memories of her will help you through this difficult time. May she rest in peace.
Christi (Kavooras) Murphy, DGS '85

There will be an empty chair at the holiday table this year, but it will be filled with loving memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sue is the leader of the band!!!

To the Colby & Donnelly Families, I'm sorry for the loss of your daughter, sister & Aunt. I met Sue while she worked with my Mom at the bank, it always seemed very lively in that department. One thing we most had in commom was our love for Disney, even though we lost touch, I always think of Sue.

Sue was a wonder person, Heaven is blessed to have her. May she be in health and in the Lords hands now. Will keep your family in my prayers

Prayers and love to your family.

Susan was always a joy to be around. As the "kid sister" of my high school friend Carolyn I remember her always having a smile on her face and a bounce in her step. I can see from her friends that she continued to have a charitable and joyful heart in adulthood.

I pray for your comfort until the day you are eternally reunited with your beautiful daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Donald and Joanne and dedicated sisters; Susan played a significant and loving role in your lives but also in the lives of those in her community, her work environments, her church and in the lives of many of us who are friends and relatives and is a model for all others who fight the battle with cancer: All Our Love the Edward Olson family, Milwaukee, WI

Dear Colby Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Sue was a beautiful person inside and out. Her faith was strong and her face just lit up when she walked in a room. She will be missed. I knew Sue in High School and she was such a sweetheart. My heart goes out to all of you. Heaven is so blessed to have her playing in the bell choir.
